What is the Scholarship Amount?
Eligible students receive:
$2,000 per year - Full Time (enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits)
$1,000 per year - Part Time (enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits)
*The scholarship is renewable for continuous Fall/Spring enrollment up to $8,000 maximum
if the recipient renews their each academic year and continues to maintain satisfactory academic progress.

For the 49th Finishers Scholarship only students who can show Alaska residency through Option A and Option B on the residency application will be considered. Those who apply for and meet Option C (Exemption of Nonresident Surcharge) are not eligible. If you meet other eligibility requirements but your residency is undetermined, you will receive notification to submit the residency application.
To receive the 49th Finishers Scholarship:
The first round of notifications will be sent out shortly after the June 15th deadline. For students who need to finalize their admission and/or residency status, eligibility notification will occur in July and August. Those students who do not meet eligibility conditions will not be notified.
